Quadrant has been instructed as Asset and Development Manager by the current owner Tristan Capital of this former Derry’s department store in Plymouth city centre.

The development comprises 64,625 sq ft of retail / leisure accommodation, a 110 bed hotel pre-let to Premier Inn and 500 high end student rooms.

Positioned in the heart of Plymouth city centre with frontage onto New George Street, Plymouth’s prime retail pitch and opposite Derry’s Cross, the development is a landmark building in the city.

The hotel and student accommodation was pre-let to Premier Inn and Homes for Students respectively. Following PC both leases have now been completed. The lease for the student accommodation requires close liaison with the operator to ensure successful marketing and management of the block.

Circa 22,000 sq ft of retail leisure space has remained vacant since the previous managers completed redevelopment works. Quadrant will work to refresh the marketing strategy and team on this space with an aim to achieve 100% occupancy on the scheme.
